This song was initially written in a somewhat surreal stretch of time in 2020. There was a pandemic, a toxic election and social uprising related to racism and the killings of black people by the police. Politics and cable news brought out the worst in us, in the forms of viotrolic political discourse, conspiracy theories and lies. It represents the mood that we felt during that time period. Feeling as though your home and sometimes your family had changed.

Then there was the insurrection on the 6th, and finally the Dobbes decision... This song is an expression about feeling like the place you love is not the same as it used to be. An outlet and an offering for when things don't make sense.
