The Space Needle was the Fair’s most visible symbol and centerpiece. Fifty years later, the 605-foot saucer-topped tower remains Seattle’s iconic landmark. This song begins with Eddie Carlson’s napkin sketch of a space-age tower, and captures the optimism and enthusiasm that accompanied the design and construction of the Needle.

I bought the 12 inch single for Bela Lugosi’s Dead at Fred’s records in St. John’s, Newfoundland in the eighties and it remained a treasured item in my collection until it was lost, left behind, stolen, loaned out, whatever. I accepted that that item was lost to time and likely irreplaceable. Hence my utter shock to see that I will once again hear this evocative masterwork on vinyl along with an extra three tracks. I recall Boys was included on the B-side of that long list single. Thank you! skritti

Yet another gem from The Green Pajamas. Excellent song progression keeps me listening right to the end. True to the bands Psych roots with edgy guitar and instrumental hi-jinks, the lyrics transport me to past memories and travels, real and imagined. There is a story book quality to each album and Sunlight Might Weigh Even More delivers again. James DayWalker
